We Create Tech is helping do exactly that.

Statewide mapping is about visibility. It doesn't mean WCT delivers programs across the whole state.

Communities across the country are building STEM ecosystems of their own. The cohort gives us a place to learn from them, share what's happening in Georgia and bring what works home.

No. WCT continues to run its own programs. This work focuses on helping connect and make visible the broader STEM landscape across Georgia.
No. A STEM ecosystem is made up of many independent organizations. WCT's role is to connect, convene, map and amplify.
Yes. The Atlanta STEAM Learning Ecosystem joined the national STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice in 2018. That ecosystem is no longer active. WCT's current work builds on Georgia's broader history of ecosystem collaboration while looking toward a statewide landscape.
No. This is a separate effort led by We Create Tech. It isn't a continuation or replacement of that ecosystem. We honor that work as part of Georgia's ecosystem history.
No. Any eligible organization can submit its information for review.
No. Formal WCT partnerships are identified separately.
No. Map inclusion means the organization has been identified or reviewed as relevant to Georgia's STEM landscape based on available information. It does not mean certification, endorsement or partnership.
Any eligible organization contributing STEM learning, career, workforce, education or community opportunities in Georgia may submit its information for review.
No. The mapping vision is statewide.
No. The reach of WCT's direct programming and the scope of ecosystem mapping are two different things.
