We Create Tech exists to open doors for students, not to collect data about them. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and how you can see, change, or delete it.
We Create Tech, Inc. ("We Create Tech," "WCT," "we," or "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Decatur, Georgia. This policy covers wecreatetech.org, our programs (including TechRise and the TechRise Launchpad), our forms, and our emails.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use wecreatetech.org, such as which pages are visited, how visitors found us, and which links and buttons are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device and usage information. We do not send Google Analytics your name, email address, or the answers you enter in our forms.

When you join the We Create Tech newsletter or the TechRise Opportunity Drop, we store your email address and any optional details you provide with our email provider, Mailchimp, so we can send you those emails. They are separate lists, and joining one does not sign you up for the other or for TechRise membership.
Every email includes a link to update your preferences or unsubscribe. You can also email hello@wecreatetech.org and we will remove you.
Our website and emails link to jobs, internships, scholarships, events, and resources on other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and practices, which we do not control. We Create Tech does not share your information with them.
If you create an account or apply through another site, that site's policy applies to the information you give it. Please review it before you submit anything, and contact that site directly with any questions about your data there.
Our website and online services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at hello@wecreatetech.org and we will delete it.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and limit access to people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as required by law.

We will respond within 30 days. We may keep certain information when the law requires it, such as donation records.
We may update this policy as our programs and tools change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or on our website.
